Christopher and I finally got around to seeing 28 Weeks Later. It was quite gory, lots of blood pouring at high velocity from the maws of the infected. It was not as satisfying as 28 Days Later: less character development, and fewer arresting images, such as the long opening scene where the protagonist wakes up in the empty hospital. It was, again, a very strong and obvious critique of the military, this time the U.S. military. There were many interesting and poetic symmetries in the movie, but I won't give anything away.
